fashion designer, visual artist, costume designer, and lecturer, as well as the founder of his eponymous fashion label and design studio based in Łódź. He has developed New Polish Form, a distinctive design language rooted in Poland’s textile heritage, avant-garde traditions, the multicultural history of Łódź, and a desire to create new narratives about identity. Armada was recognized by the American Vogue as one of 27 emerging independent designers from around the world representing a new generation of creative talent. He designs costumes for theatre, dance, music, and performance productions. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with numerous artists, cultural institutions, and commercial brands. He creates for people who live between worlds: those who do not want to look like everyone else, who seek meaning in what they wear, and who would rather own one authentic piece than a wardrobe full of copies.
